TBR has an established reputation in skills and sectoral-based research, having developed strong working relationships with organisations across the agenda. We are fundamentally interested in providing evidence that can coordinate activities, act as a catalyst for change and ensure that the four nations of the UK respond to skills and employment pressures.
TBR has undertaken a wide range of research into labour markets and skills (including dynamics of skills and employer attitudes to skills), local and regional economic development and policy agendas and their implications. Through this work, key members of our team have developed a detailed understanding of the ways in which detailed information and greater insight can be gained. This includes:
Understanding of the secondary data that is available and have access to the resources that can disaggregate it. Accordingly we have experience in large scale and complex data manipulation and disaggregation.
