Lauren joined TBR in 2016 having previously worked within the public and third sectors (both in the UK and overseas). Lauren has several years’ experience in policy analysis, project management and research & evaluation. She is as comfortable working on in-house research projects to highlight future business growth opportunities as those in partnership with government agencies that provide commentary and recommendations on policy.
Lauren also has experience leading on research for non-governmental organisations (NGOs) to evaluate existing projects and highlight growth opportunities. This involved undertaking desk based research of existing data and reports to inform the development of a survey to undertake consultations with key stakeholders to assess opportunities in line with the strengths of the NGOs.
Since joining TBR, Lauren has worked on a number of projects including: an evaluation of the North East Museum Development Programme and an analysis of the Australian Night Time Economy.
Lauren has a LLB (Hons) from Manchester Metropolitan University and a MA in International Development from the University of Manchester.
Lauren is an avid traveller and loves to visit new places both in the UK and abroad. When she is not travelling, she can often be found running for leisure around her home town or chasing after her very energetic toddler.
