Andrew’s strengths lie in strategy development, designing new analytical approaches and the application of a wide variety of research methods. His role focuses on leading the business and delivering the company strategy, which he spends considerable time developing and implementing. Andrew also takes the lead on our work in TBR’s Economic Research theme. Andrew is an excellent communicator and has advanced skills in finding and applying innovative and informative uses of data to projects. Andrew’s approach is highly collaborative, whether within the context of leading the company or when he is engaged on client projects. He has led on projects for the Department for Culture Media and Sport (DCMS) and the CASE Programme, local authorities and regional development agencies.
Andrew’s wide experience in economic development research, strategy development and project management is a key benefit to TBR and its clients. Andrew champions the innovative use of economic and business data and has contributed to publications which build on this approach.
Andrew Graves has been Managing Director of TBR since 2006 and has been with TBR since 1993. Andrew worked his way up through the organisation and has recently restructured the company to focus on our four key specialisms; Economic Research, Skills, Creative and Environment. Prior to joining TBR, Andrew studied at Newcastle University and in Grenoble, France.
Andrew has a young family and when not with them, he can be caught (if you pardon the pun) playing cricket or cheering on his beloved West Ham.
